“Wanted” 20 candidates for the Ordo Nobilis Investiture in Rome – 27/05/2025 – 01/06/2025
Dear friends of the Noble Order, we have special news.
Our Noble Order has been invited by the E.G.S. and our board member Peter-Olaf Hoffmann to participate in the triennial Rome pilgrimage from 27/05 – 01/06/2025.
Peter-Olaf specifically wishes for the Noble Order to organize a small Investiture in Rome to strengthen our good cooperation.
We are therefore looking for 20 (twenty) candidates who wish to travel with the EGS to celebrate their admission or promotion in the Noble Order. It will be a limited Investiture but a very beautiful one, given the magnificent surroundings and the special occasion of the “Holy Year.”
The Investiture will take place in the presence of:

Archduke of Austria
Prince Charles Louis von Merode
Prince Albert Henri von Merode
Dr. Heiner Koch, Archbishop of Berlin.
Attached to this letter, you will find a brochure in German with the prices. The reception after the Investiture will be limited to members of the Noble Order and the promoted candidates, as not all participants of the Rome pilgrimage will be admitted.
Candidate-laureates for 2025 can register NOW on the Order’s website via the online registration form. Closure for the promotions is set on 01/03/2025!
Travelers to Rome must fill out the ANMELDUNG form and send it to Peter-Olaf Hoffmann BoHoffmann@t-online.de , with the Order in copy to Kanselier@OrdoNobilis.eu In the brochure, you will find all the information with the dates, prices, and the complete offer in detail.
The Investiture will take place on Friday 30/05/2025 at 17.30 at the Palazzo Cardinal Cesi, located on the Via della Conciliazione – the beautiful avenue between the Castel Sant’Angelo and St. Peter’s Square.
The prices for participation in the activities are in the enclosed brochure and were valid until the end of November 2024. After that date, other prices apply (especially the flights!). Based on your registration form to the EGS and Peter Olaf, you will receive a price quote.
Of course you can always organize your own accommodation and flight, but then you must also arrange your own transport for the events. You can also sign up for just the visit part.
Highlights include:
- Investiture and visit to the catacombs of St. Sebastian (outside Rome!).
- Impressive Holy Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica.
- Investiture of the Noble Order in a magnificent hotel.
- Procession from the Castel Sant’Angelo to the Vatican.
- Joint pizza or spaghetti evening with the EGS.
